The home is set on a sloped, triangular lot with direct access to a private lake in Clyde HIll. At 8,000 square feet, the goal was to create a large, comfortable house that feels grounded and respectful of the site.

The layout follows the natural slope of the land, stepping down as the terrain drops. Rather than reading as one large mass, the house is broken into smaller volumes so it sits naturally on the hillside and feels appropriately scaled.

The main living level is where the house opens fully to the lake. The kitchen, living, dining, and outdoor room line the water, with floor-to-ceiling glass throughout. When the outdoor room is open, indoor and outdoor spaces connect seamlessly, making the lake part of everyday life.

Upper-level spaces include offices, a gym, a sauna, and a large rooftop deck, all positioned to capture expansive views of the lake.

The lower level is designed for flexibility and privacy, with a separate entertainment room that opens directly to the yard. All bedrooms have direct access to the outdoors, and the primary suite faces the lake.

Durable materials like concrete and metal siding give the exterior a quiet, long-lasting presence. Inside, the finishes are intentionally restrained, allowing light, views, and the surrounding landscape to take center stage.
