Clyde Hill

The project is in the city of Clyde Hill, a residential area near Seattle. The lot size and zoning result in a home that is almost as wide as it is deep, so an outdoor courtyard is  carved out of the middle of the volume. This courtyard brings in light, air, and views of the sky and the surrounding trees, which are almost constantly swaying in the wind.
